Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 launched September 23, 2026. The date was announced on September 1 alongside the release-date trailer, after the game's original public target of September 1 slipped (players flagged the change in the Steam discussions).

The game ships with full controller support — DualShock, DualSense and standard gamepads are all listed on the store page. Native racing-wheel support is not currently planned (official FAQ).

The store page carried no price tag right up to unlock, which is why older discussions are full of guesses. A few owners of Lawn Mowing Simulator (the first game) reported a 10% checkout cut — player-reported, not a listed launch sale. No editions or bundles were listed pre-launch.
The demo is still free
You don't have to buy it to try the loop: the demo (Steam app 4787720) debuted at Steam Next Fest on June 15, 2026 and has been updated since (Update 3 shipped to the demo in the run-up to launch). It's the same core mowing loop as the full game, minus the career — more on what the demo does and doesn't include.
